Change to TN Parenting Plan

An  important change for Family Law Attorneys and Rule 31 Family Listed Mediators in Tennessee went into effect on April 14, 2016.  The Parental Relocation Statute, which is referenced in the Tennessee Parenting Plan, was amended.  The following language was added to the beginning paragraph, “After custody or co-parenting has been established by the entry of a permanent parenting plan or final order, if a parent who is spending… ”  This amendment was based on the case of Nosgovitz vs. Nosgovitz.  You will likely need to go into your Parenting Plan document and add the prefatory clause to comply with the new change.
