How many CLE hours are required each year?

15 credit hours each year, consisting of no less than 12 general hours and 3 Ethics/Professionalism hours (or Dual hours) per year.

How many CLE hours can I carry forward to the next year?

Up to 1 year’s worth of BOTH General (12 hours) and Ethics/Professionalism (3 hours) may be carried forward. Ethics (DUAL) credits in excess of the annual requirement (a maximum of 3 hours) will be carried forward to the next year’s ethics requirement, but may NOT be used to satisfy any deficiency in the 12 hour General requirement.

How does Training Resolved verify I have completed my course?

For our video courses you must confirm that you are viewing the video. We have embedded numeric codes in the courses. You must write these codes down and then enter them on our website after you complete the course to obtain your course completion certificate. Please note that the date you enter the codes and get the certificate is the date that will be printed on the certificate.

Does Training Resolved report my hours to the Tennessee CLE Commission?

Yes, we report your completed courses to the Supreme Court of Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education. Our automated attendance reports run every 3 business days. Additionally, we maintain a record of all your completed courses and you can access your records and certificates of completion at anytime from our website through the “My Account” tab under “courses.”
